The M.A.B. for In-Person Interactions eLearn course has been designed to give staff the right tools to achieve safer outcomes in the face of aggressive behaviours during in-person interactions.
More than 10,000 staff and the people they support Australia-wide are now much safer at work having completed M.A.B. ™ Staff Safety Training.
This course is recommended for aged care, alcohol and other drugs, child care, community, compliance, disability, family, frontline, health, homelessness, library, local government, maternal and child health, mental health, paramedic, regulatory officer, transport, utility and youth service providers.

Participants will be better able to:
1. Feel more empowered to prioritise their safety.
2. Make informed decisions about staying safe when exposed to aggressive behaviours including challenging behaviours, behaviours of concern, verbal abuse, threats and threatening behaviours, and physical assault.
3. Proactively and reactively use dynamic risk assessment, communication, avoidance and de-escalation strategies to reduce risks of harm during incidents involving aggressive behaviours.
4. Feel more confident to make critical decisions when managing aggressive behaviours that may impact multiple stakeholders.
5. Continuously improve approaches by using reflective practices.
6. Feel more comfortable to access available supports following incidents involving aggressive behaviours.
