SAFELY MANAGING COVID REQUIREMENTS

The M.A.B. for In-Person Interactions online course takes you through our 7 step safety plan to help you to safely manage aggressive behaviours during in-person interactions.

By increasing your awareness of the risks of aggressive behaviours in your working environment, you will be able to better anticipate those risks as they develop around you, and can then implement strategies to lessen or remove those risks enabling you to work safely.

Both the eLearn Course and the Webinars have been designed for adult learners to effectively achieve learning objec­tives, max­imise indi­vid­ual par­tic­i­pa­tion and enhance learn­ing retention.

M.A.B. for In-Person Interactions is recommended for aged care, alcohol and other drugs, child care, community, compliance, disability, family, frontline, health, homelessness, library, local government, maternal and child health, mental health, paramedic, regulatory officer, transport, utility and youth service providers.

The eLearn Course provides easy to learn, contextualised, consistent, mobile, and self-paced content that can be completed at a time of the learner’s own choosing.
The eLearn Course is divided into 7 lessons – one for each step of the Safety Plan – PLUS the “Safely Imposing COVID Requirements” module.
Upon completion of the course, learners will receive a course certificate.
Learners may access the eLearn Course content an unlimited number of times during the licence period.

The interactive live Webinars are an optional add-on to the eLearn course for those who wish to maximise both the depth of knowledge presented and the opportunity for learning.
Following direct consultation with key stakeholders, the interactive Webinars are contextualised to address the specific concerns you have for the safety of your staff.
Participants will have the opportunity to validate their actions taken in the past and to absorb recommended courses of action for challenges in the future.

Can I buy the eLearn Course for other people?

Yes. You may buy the course for as many people as you like. You can choose the quantity on the checkout page.

How long can I access the eLearn Course for?

You may access the course as many times as you like during the 12 month licence period.

How long does it take to complete the eLearn Course?

As the course is self-paced learning, the time taken to complete the course varies. Participants typically around 120 minutes.

CAN I SEE THE ELEARN BEFORE BUYING IT FOR MY TEAM?

Can I order WebinarS before completing the eLearn Course?

Yes. In fact it is good to order Webinars at the time of ordering the eLearn Course. This allows more time for participants to organise their schedules so they can be available for the Webinars.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IN EACH WEBINAR?

The maximum number of participants per Webinar is set at fifty (50). We recommend limiting the number of participants to twenty (20) per Webinar to ensure participants get the most out of each live Webinar.

IS THE ELEARN COURSE A PRE-REQUISITE FOR THE WEBINAR?

Yes. Participants must complete the eLearn Course prior to attending a Webinar.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE THE WEBINARS?​

Once you have placed your order, a member of our team will contact you to schedule the dates and times for your live Webinars.

WHAT PLATFORM DO YOU USE FOR THE WEBINAR?​

The Webinars are hosted using Cisco Webex “Meetings” which uses end-to-end encryption. Participants will be given all the details for their Webinar at the time of registering for it.

HOW LONG IS THE WEBINAR?​

The duration of each live webinar is 45 minutes.
